Hermastine Lancaster is a pillar of her community and a great example of what a leader represents. She has been a volunteer at Women of Hope Rehab Center at New Beginnings Church for several years. Lancaster currently serves as a billboard member at Second Saint Silom Missionary Baptist Church. She has a self published newsletter titled The Messenger. Lancaster has served  as an elderly caregiver for over 25 years, which inspires several of her organaztion's projects.
